项目活动
A very prominent aspect of the Lien Ying Chow Legacy Fellowship is its fellows. Together with the programme office, forums and seminars are organised annually that aim to facilitate and promote bonding among fellows and their family members to strengthen friendship and promote intellectual and cultural sharing.
Some of the major events are:
• Lien China Development Forum, a biennial high profile summit held in China, where Lien fellows and world renowned scholars and practitioners gather to exchange views on current issues pertaining to China’s development.
• Lien International Conference, a biennial academic event held in Singapore, where more than a hundred researchers and scholars from all around the world present their latest research and findings.
• China Lien Fellow Speakers Series, a platform for Lien fellows to share their expertise through public lectures. It is organized quarterly.
• Lien Fellows Gathering, a get-together organized at least once a year, where fellows and their family members participate in seminar discussions and cultural talks.
• Lien Fellows Day, which is Lien fellows’ own festival. Lien fellows and their family members spared one day from their busy work schedule to come together to engage in discussions on the latest developments between the two countries, and to participate in leisure cultural activities, which aim to build friendships and strengthen bonds among the fellows.
The Fellowship also strongly encourages and fully supports fellows in the publication of their research papers, and has published several books since its inception.
学者是连瀛洲纪念奖学金项目非常重要的组成部分。因此奖
学金项目办公室每年都会举办一系列的活动,以鼓励和促进
学者之间的交流和友谊。
其中一些有特色的项目包括:
• 连氏中国发展论坛;这是个两年一度在中国举办的高 端峰会,连氏学者、中新双方的高级政府管员、企业 高管和国际知名的专家学者齐聚一堂,共同探讨当前 中国的热点经济和发展问题。
• 连氏国际研讨会;这是个两年一度在新加坡举办的学 术研讨会,数百位来自全球各地的学者和专家会在此 大会上发表他们的最新研究成果。
• 连氏学者中国系列演讲;这是每个季度举办一次的公 开讲座。通过此活动为连氏学者搭建一个平台,与公 众和专业人士分享自己在工作和科研中取得的成果或 者国家最新的政策和发展。
• 连氏学者北京聚会;每年奖学金项目会为学者们至少 举办一次轻松的聚会活动,并且邀请学者携家属一同 参加,以此增进学者之间更亲密的感情和友谊。聚会 通常会安排一些以文化为主题的讲座和活动。
• 连氏学者日;这是一个属于连氏学者自己的节日,因 而可以将学者们更紧密的团结在一起。在学者日当 天,或者通过举办国情研讨会让中新双方的学者们能 够及时了解两国最新的发展状况,或者通过轻松的文 化休闲活动增添学者们的生活乐趣,得以让学者们从 繁忙的工作中享受片刻的轻松。目的是让学者们保持 联系,交换对国家发展的看法,及促进彼此的友谊。
本奖学金项目也鼓励和支持学者们将他们的研究成果整理成
书出版,已使得更多的人可以从他们的研究中受益。至今,
奖学金学者已出版了不少书籍及报刊,例如《新中社会发展
对比研究》,《新加坡政府管理经验与启示》,《新加坡经
验及启示–针对金融与组屋制度的研究》等。
